Neemix 4.5 IGR works via contact and ingestion. It has repellant and anti-feeding activity, and it interferes with molting. Does not kill adults. Repeat applications every 7-10 days or as needed. Spray mix pH should be 3 to 8, adjust if needed using an OMRI-approved buffering agent. Add a spreader-sticker or oil-based adjuvant for air or ground application. Use sufficient water to obtain good coverage. Can also be chemigated. Similar products containing azadirachtin are available but use rates vary.

Pest or Disease | MOA1 | Efficacy2 | Rate per Acre3 | REI4 | PHI5 | Notes |
Aphid (various species) | NC | F-P | 5-7 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply when aphids first appear. It may work too slowly to limit spread of Potato Virus Y, especially when winged (migratory) aphid numbers are high. Does not provide immediate mortality. |
Armyworms, Cutworms, Loopers (various genera, Lepidoptera) | NC | ND | 4-10 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply when caterpillars are small. If needed, follow-up with 2-3 applications at 7-10 day intervals. |
Beet Leafhopper (Circulifer tenellus) | NC | ND | 7-16 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply when beet leafhoppers first appear. It may work too slowly to limit spread of phytoplasma diseases (e.g., purple top). |
Colorado Potato Beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) | NC | F | 4-10 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply at 30% egg hatch when larvae are very small. If needed, follow-up with 2-3 applications at 7-10 day intervals. |
Lygus Bugs (Lygus species) | NC | ND | 7-16 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply when nymphs are present. |
Potato Psyllid (Bactericera cockerelli) | NC | F | 7-16 fl oz | 4 h | 0 d | Apply when adults psyllids are depositing eggs and/or when nymphs are present. |

2 Efficacy ratings denote the relative ability of a pesticide to control its target. The ratings are E = excellent, G = good, F = fair/suppression; P = poor, and ND = no data. Efficacy ratings are based on the inherent toxicity of the pesticide against its target, the likelihood that the target will contact or ingest the product as applied, duration of impact on the target, and undesired effects, such as negative impacts on natural enemies that could lead to future pest outbreaks.
3 Rate per acre per application. Refer to the product label for maximum use rate per season.
4 Reentry interval.
5The minimum pre-harvest interval. Some products do not list PHI.
Note: always read and follow the directions on the pesticide label.
