Rimon controls juvenile life stages of pests because it disrupts the molting process; it does not control adults. It must be ingested to control juveniles, or it can be applied over eggs to act as an ovicide. No systemic or translaminar activity, so good coverage is important. Soft on many predatory insects. Use higher rates and higher spray volumes when the leaf canopy is dense. A repeat application 7-14 days after the first may be needed to cover new growth. Make only two consecutive applications of Rimon (or other Group 15 insecticides) before rotating to an effective insecticide with a different MOA.

| Target | Application per Acre | REI | PHI | MOA | Eff. | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Armyworms, Cutworms, Loopers | 6-12 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 15 | E | Apply when larvae are small. |
| Colorado Potato Beetle | 6-12 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 15 | G | Apply at 50% egg hatch when larvae are small. Use higher rates and higher spray volumes when larvae are large. |
| Lygus Bugs | See Label | 12 h | 14 d | 15 | G | Lygus bugs are not listed in the potato section of the label but are mentioned for other crops. Apply when early nymph stages are present. |
| Potato Psyllid | 12 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 15 | F (n) | Apply when psyllid eggs are hatching/nymphs are present. This product does not control adults. The Rimon label recommends applying with an adulticide for optimum control. No systemic or translaminar activity, so it may not always reach nymphs on the underside of leaves. |
