Minecto Pro works mainly via ingestion. It has rapid anti-feeding activity. It is translaminar. Use a non-ionic activator type wetting, spreading, or penetrating adjuvant. Do not use stickers or tank mix with pesticides containing a sticker component. Apply using enough water to obtain good coverage via air or ground. Chemigate using 0.1 to 0.2-inch water. Constant agitation is required during application. Beware of maximum application rates for abamectin and cyantraniliprole when using Minecto Pro with other products that include those active ingredients (e.g., Agri-Mek, Exirel, Verimark).

| Target | Application per Acre | REI | PHI | MOA | Eff. | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aphid | 10 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6, 28 | G | Apply before aphid populations build. Rapid anti-feeding activity helps to limit spread of viruses, like Potato Virus Y, that spread quickly. The abamectin in Minecto Pro is not very effective for aphids. |
| Armyworms, Cutworms, Loopers | See Label | 12 h | 14 d | 6, 28 | E | Apply when caterpillars are small. |
| Colorado Potato Beetle | 5.5 to 10 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6, 28 | E | Apply at 50% egg hatch when larvae are small. Don’t apply more than twice to a generation of CPB, or within any 30-day period. |
| Potato Psyllid | 10 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6, 28 | E (n+a) | Apply when adults are migrating into the field, especially if they are depositing eggs. Rapid anti-feeding activity will also help to limit spread of zebra chip disease. Controls all life stages. Translaminar, so it will control nymphs on the underside of leaves. |
| Thrips | 10 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6, 28 | F | Minecto Pro is not recommended as a rescue treatment for thrips, but it can help to suppress thrips populations. |
