ethoprop (Mocap 15% Granular (broadcast))

There are liquid (EC) and granular formulations of Mocap (ethoprop). They can be broadcast or banded. For nematodes and for moderate to heavy infestations of wireworms, the broadcast application is preferred.

The following information is for broadcast application of Mocap 15% Granular. Broadcast and immediately incorporate with tillage equipment. Apply no earlier than 2 weeks before planting. Pay attention to rotation crop restrictions. Small grains should not be planted within 8 months of the Mocap EC application. Restricted use pesticide with “Danger/Poison” warning and handling concerns.

Wireworms 27-40 lb 72 h - 1B G Apply at a rate of 40 lbs/A to control wireworms and symphylans (80 lbs/A is used to control nematodes). The label suggests 2–4-inch incorporation for wireworms, but 6–8-inches may be better.
