Belay is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide. It controls insect pests via ingestion. Expect 60-90 days of residual control depending on the rate used, soil and environmental conditions, application timing, and insect pressure. The following usage notes are for soil application only. There are several application options, including as a diluted spray onto seed-pieces, or in-furrow at planting, or as a spray over the row during hilling. Apply neonicotinoid insecticides (Group 4A) ONLY once in a season to limit the development of resistant insect populations.
