Agri-Mek SC has contact and ingestion activity. It is translaminar, but not systemic. Thorough coverage is important. Ground or air application is preferred. Use sufficient water carrier to obtain good coverage. Constant agitation is required during application. To avoid illegal residues, mix with a non-ionic activator type wetting, spreading, and/or penetrating adjuvant. Do not use stickers or tank mix with pesticides containing a sticker component because they can reduce translaminar movement. Make only two consecutive applications before rotating to an insecticide with a different MOA. Similar products containing abamectin are available, including package mixes, but uses and use rates vary.

| Target | Application per Acre | REI | PHI | MOA | Eff. | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Colorado Potato Beetle | 1.75-3.5 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6 | G | Apply when 50% of eggs have hatched and larvae are small. If two applications are needed, limit them to a single CPB generation. |
| Potato Psyllid | 1.75-3.5 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6 | E (n+a) | Apply when psyllids are present, especially if eggs are hatching. It will control all life stages and is a good choice when eggs and nymphs are present. Translaminar, so it will control nymphs on the underside of leaves. |
| Thrips | 3.5 fl oz | 12 h | 14 d | 6 | F | Not recommended as a rescue treatment for thrips, but it can help to suppress thrips populations. |
